I went to Bombay Hook NWR yesterday and took pics of 17 different species (lots to share for future posts)!
I first saw the fox in my rear view mirror when it popped out from the marsh. I thru the truck in park and got out as fast as I could (I was just creeping along). I shouted out as the fox casually walked away from me; finally he/she stopped and looked back. The Red-winged Blackbird was pestering the fox – I missed a good dive-bombing shot :-(
