I finally went thru the images I made of the recent solar eclipse. Note you can see sunspots, especially in the large cropped version (best viewed on large monitor ;-) Also, the images themselves were void of color, I added that using photoshop.
My plan was to take a shot every few minutes and select a few to create a composite image. I couldn’t shoot all stages of the eclipse due to clouds (I was missing a few after the eclipse peaked) …

Finally, a couple pics of me having fun making the solar filter for my lens. I put it in a safe place for the next total solar eclipse for North America on Monday, April 8, 2024!
