There are what seems like hundreds of American Robins flying around the neighborhood and in my backyard! Of course I had to grab my camera with the 800mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter to get in closer – too close sometimes :-)

I decided to switch up and try the upper dam instead of the lower dam all the time. Turns out, when birds (ahem eagles) fly over the top from below they come straight at me!
I was walking along the shoreline around dulaney valley bridge taking some duckie pics (for another post) and started thinking, hmm, it’s about the time of year I came across a whole bunch of waxwings. I started scanning the trees carefully looking for them … bam, there they were!
I went above the main dam for a change – might have to hang out there more often!
I got a ton of geese images this morning plus a couple cool slow motion videos :-)
