I went back to the original 2010 images of a mink to see if I could do better with the latest software. I redeveloped the raw files but that still wasn’t good enough. The images were blurry (being my first camera and all haha – 1/000sec didn’t cut it, also the ‘toy’ 400mm f/5.6 lens plus a teleconverter wasn’t the best combo). The camera/lens I have now puts it to shame haha!
Here’s an ‘original’ from back then compared to the 2026 version – is it sixteen years of software advances in digital photography software or is it I just know what I’m doing better these days? Hahaha …
Here’s the rest of the images that HAVE NEVER BEEN POSTED! Note these are all 100% crops which made the blur problem worse – Topaz Photo AI helped some :-)
