I went back hoping to get a better shot of the Loon. This time, I heard at least one of them wailing. Apparently, ‘this haunting call is not an alarm call but is used to keep in contact with other loons on the same lake’. I tried to catch it by taking a video, barely came out. I went back later that same day with my sound recorder, no luck…
