I decided to get closer, expecting it to hop away, but mr. bunny wasn’t scared and was very cooperative. I ended up so close on the last pics and had to zoom my lens back …
I was back at the lower dam area and found the heron again. I was able to get a couple shots thru grass at first, then repositioned for a better composition. I suppose I got to close and he flew to the other side of the river. I went further downstream and waited a little bit until yep, he flew back to me haha!
I was walking back to my truck along the river past the lower loch raven dam when I came along mr. green heron :-)
There are what seems like hundreds of American Robins flying around the neighborhood and in my backyard! Of course I had to grab my camera with the 800mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter to get in closer – too close sometimes :-)
