This is the second time I have seen an oriole tugging on fishing line strewn through the trees. The first time I saw this was also near Warren Rd. Bridge – you can see that post from 2015 here<\/a>. It appears that they intentionally weave the line through the trees and bushes then tug at it when there is a threat nearby (here’s a wiki link on Distraction Displays<\/a>).<\/p>\n
